Letter From Administration

William Pomeroy, Administrator

Happy New Year from the staff of Kirkwood Manor!

We are excited about what the new year brings, and we hope to bring solutions to the many challenges our community may experience this year. We continue to be blessed with great staff, physician teams, residents, patients and family members and the many resources they bring.

Kirkwood will be celebrating its 32nd year in business; and it has been a blessing to be afforded the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many. Whether it was for long term or short term and in some cases outpatient, we are honored that so many chose Kirkwood for the next level of care they required.

In 2017 we celebrated so many birthdays, including several 100+ year birthdays; and we even had one who celebrated her 104th birthday with us. This is certainly confirmation we are a solution to many needing 24-hour care for those in need.

We also celebrated many return to home successes! Over 200 individuals chose Kirkwood to get better and returned home in 2017 with the help of our excellent Team that includes Nursing, Rehabilitation Services, Respiratory, Dietary, Housekeeping, Activities, Maintenance and Administration.

Often times we hear from families and patients about success stories as they transition home. Please continue to share your stories of success with our team. We love hearing from you! And, as always, please feel free to stop by if you have questions or concerns. My door is always open. Thank you all for entrusting your loved ones to us – we look at that as a privilege and a responsibility that we take very seriously.

Praying for a joyful and successful 2019 for all.
